All specimens used are ethically sourced, legally obtained, legal to buy, sell and own.

Our insects are raised in conservation farms all over the world!

By purchasing a specimen you are actually aiding conservation and helping to maintain the creatures natural habitat as well as boost local economies.
Conservation Farms employ local farmers who keep native plant species and the environment intact, this provides a food source for the caterpillars. It also stops the habitat being destroyed for logging and agricultural farming.
It is because of this, butterflies in conservations Farms have a much higher survival rate from egg to adult, up to 95%! Where as in the wild their survival rate is around 5%.

Specimens should be kept in a dry place out of direct sun light to ensure the butterflies do not fade over time. Insect surface spray can be used on the back of the frame every 6-12 months to keep any critters away.

Please note colours on computer screen or phone are as close to the actual colourings of the insect as is possible to reproduce online. some minor differences may occur.



All our specimens are packed with extra care to assure no damage occurs as well as being fully insured during transit for extra peace of mind!

All orders are shipped with Australia Post within Australia and Internationally.

Australia + NZ: Free Postage on all orders over $60 Otherwise postage is calculated at checkout. Orders will be dispatched within 1-5 business days of order date and usually arrive within 1 week after being dispatched.

International: Shipping is calculated at checkout depending on weight. Orders will be dispatched within 1-5 business days of order date and usually arrive 1-3 weeks after being dispatched.

YES we are still shipping during COVID-19 however transit times are in accordance with Australia Post guidelines and some shipping times may be longer than usual.

 If you have any issues with your order once you have received it please contact us and we will happily resolve any issues. 

Returns & Refunds

If you receive your item damaged, please contact us at within 7 days of receiving your item. You will also need to take it to your local Post Office and fill out a "Damage Report" to start the refund process as your item is Australia Posts responsibility during transit. You may be required to take photos of the damage, including the box and packaging as well as the item.

You are only entitled to a refund if an item is faulty or has a major problem. We do not offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind.
