Stag beetles are insects in the family Lucanidae, the males are known for their over size mandibles used to wrestle each other for favoured mating sites. Fights may also be over food, such as tree sap and decaying fruits. Despite their often fearsome appearance, they are not normally aggressive to humans.
All prints come inside a plastic sleeve and are packed with a cardboard insert to prevent any damage during transit. Prints do NOT come with a frame.
